Exhibition – April 2022

Yet another successful Spring exhibition has now closed. We had a wonderful display of arts and crafts and some delicious homemade cakes in the cafe. The winner of the public vote for the best craft table was Sandra Lee with her delightful display of felted items and Eric Humphreys won the best picture vote with his oil painting entitled Green Pond.

Exhibition – Nov 2021

This was a very successful exhibition with more visitors than in recentl years. Both the artists and crafters had some good sales which was very encouraging after the last 2 years of lockdowns and shutdowns due to the covid pandemic.

The winner of the most voted for craft table was a new member, Sandra Lee. She displayed a lovely selection of needle- felted items.

The winner of the most voted for picture was Sara Sawers with her beautiful brown bear picture.

The winner of the vote for best picture at the spring exhibition is ‘Protecting our future’ by Hayley Walker, a stunning pastel with great detail.

Congratulations to Hayley, who also won the prize for best Craft stall with her display of felted animals and Bears.

It was a great exhibition of our members work with a huge variety of styles and media, we were pleased to hear how difficult our visitors found it to vote for a single winning picture!
