The Summer Exhibition is fast approaching, and I an sure I can hear the sound of paintbrushes, scissors, needles and paint being thrown around in a last minute frenzy of creativity!

Watercolour by Amanda Axtell

We are handing in our work on Friday evening before the Exhibition goes live at 10:00am on Saturday the 19th August, for two whole days of public viewing which ends at 4:30 on the Sunday (20th)

As part of Hampshire open Studios there is no entry fee to this wonderful event, although we do charge for refreshments! The Village hall in Shorts road, Fairoak (SO50 7EJ) has good facilities with ample parking and disabled access.

On show will be painting in Oil, acrylics, Watercolour and mixed media with subjects typically including landscapes, Seascapes, pets and wildlife. Craft will include hanging craft which is likely to be textiles and mixed media, and there will be a selection of craft stalls covering many Crafts.

Many crafters and some artists will be demonstrating over the weekend, and there will be members on hand to discuss the work on show.

Join us for 5 minutes or 5 hours, and browse the artwork ready to vote on your favourite!

I hope everyone displaying and visiting has a great weekend!
